Bergh Stoop & Sanders advises green energy supplier Greenchoice on the strategic acquisition of a 20% stake in Energie Transitie Groep

Yesterday, Greenchoice announced to acquire a 20% stake in Energie Transitie Groep with a call option for the remaining shares. Energie Transitie Groep consists of Huismerk Energie N.V. (B2C), De Groene Stroomfabriek N.V. (B2B) and Energy Trading Company B.V. (sourcing of energy). The strategic partnership contributes to both energy providers’ ambition to accelerate the Dutch decentralised energy transition. With this acquisition, Greenchoice reinforces its position in the competitive energy market as the leading green energy supplier.
