Nynke’s practice focuses on a wide range of topics in relation to employment law matters, including the preparation and assessment of employment contracts and personnel manuals, individual dismissals and collective redundancies, the special position of managing (statutory) directors, co-determination matters, support in reorganizations, in- and outsourcing, and mergers and acquisitions. Nynke always strives to and often finds a pragmatic solution even to the most complex employment law matters.
Nynke started her career as a lawyer in 2004 at top-tier law firm Stibbe until 2009 when she joined Banning’s employment law practice. Upon her return to the Netherlands from the United States, where she lived for several years, she joined Bergh Stoop & Sanders in 2016.
ACADEMIC / PUBLICATIONS
Nynke holds an LL.M from Groningen University (2004) and cemented her employment law specialization with a post-doctoral specialization program at Erasmus University of Rotterdam (2010) and a Human Resources program at Harvard Extension School (2013). Nynke frequently writes articles for Dutch leading periodicals on employment law.
PERSONAL / EXTRA-CURRICULAR
Nynke is a member of the Dutch Employment Law Association (Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht). In her spare time, Nynke loves to travel, play the piano, and is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI).
