Petra Charbon, Maarten Sanders, Gert-Jan van den Bergh and Aad Stoop decided to join forces in 2009. That is when they founded the law firm Bergh Stoop & Sanders Advocaten. All four partners had worked with leading law firms for many years. The common denominator among them is their determination to devote their experience and qualities to their personal contacts with their clients and provide the highest possible level of advice. They guarantee contactability, efficiency and acceptable hourly rates, continuing a tradition that started in 1999. Four former partners of four leading law firms who, after retiring, wished to continue their practices outside of these leading firms on the basis of their personal contacts, experience and qualities established a law firm at a single address, Leidsegracht 3. Theo Bremer is one of the four lawyers who works as a consultant at the law firm Bergh Stoop & Sanders Advocaten. Martijn Sanders, former director of the Concertgebouw, is also active as a consultant at the firm and runs an executive consulting practice.
The firm now comprises twelve lawyers, who jointly offer - from their offices at Herengracht 481 - a broad range of legal services. Major institutions and companies from the cultural, creative and healthcare sectors are well-represented in the firm's client base.
